Paze is an online checkout solution offered by banks and credit unions that provides added security because your actual card number is not shared with merchants. Your Paze wallet is pre-loaded with your eligible U.S. credit and debit cards, so you don’t need to type in your full card number at checkout.

Paze, offered by banks and credit unions you already use, provides added security when you check out online because your full card number is not shared with merchants, plus it’s fast and convenient.

  • Access Paze through your mobile banking app.
  • Your Paze wallet is pre-loaded with your eligible U.S. credit and debit cards.

You don’t need to sign up—just activate Paze from mywallet.paze.com or your bank or credit union’s mobile app or website. Then, look for the Paze logo when you check out at a participating merchant. Or, enter the email address or phone number you use with your bank or credit union when shopping online.

Paze uses the same email address and mobile number associated with your participating bank or credit union account. Be sure to enter this email or phone number if prompted at a participating merchant’s checkout.

If you need to update your email or phone number, you can do this on your bank or credit union's mobile app or website.

Only eligible U.S. credit and debit cards from participating banks and credit unions can be used with Paze. If you do not see one of your cards in your Paze wallet, the card may not be eligible for Paze or may not currently be available through your financial institution.

If you do not see a card that you believe should be eligible for Paze, please contact your bank or credit union directly for specific eligibility card guidelines.

To view your eligible cards, visit mywallet.paze.com or your bank or credit union’s mobile app or website.

If you are checking out at a participating merchant and don’t see Paze as a payment option, try the following:

  • Review the items in your cart. Some merchants may not display Paze for certain purchases, such as some gift cards. Removing ineligible items may make Paze available.
  • Sign in to your merchant account. Some merchants require you to sign in before Paze is available.
  • Try a different checkout experience. Depending on the merchant, Paze may be available on their website, mobile app, or both.
  • Update the merchant’s mobile app. Paze may not appear if you’re using an older version of the app.

Paze is offered by your participating bank or credit union. For support, please call your bank or credit union directly via the number printed on the back of your card.

By Eric M. Hoffman

Eric M. Hoffman is Chief Partnerships Officer at Early Warning Services, where he leads efforts to bring Paze to more of the brands and retailers consumers use every day. Prior to Early Warning, he helped scale Apple Pay across the Americas. For media inquiries, contact [email protected].

Key Takeaways

  • Redeem the offer up to 10 times per eligible card.
  • Earn up to $100 in statement credits per eligible card.
  • Available June 15 through September 10, 2026.
  • Eligible merchants include brands consumers use every day across quick-service restaurants, travel, sports, entertainment, and gifting.
  • Terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements apply.

Online checkout should be simple. Instead, consumers often find themselves juggling passwords, re-entering card numbers, and worrying that their card information is scattered across the internet.

With Paze we believe there is a better way.

Paze is a digital wallet offered by participating financial institutions, including Bank of America, Capital One, Chase, PNC, Truist, US Bank, Wells Fargo, Citi, and many other banks and credit unions. It comes from the same company behind Zelle®, which has grown into one of the most widely used person-to-person payment networks in the U.S., processing more than $1 trillion annually.

Consumers can use eligible cards from financial institutions they already know and use, without creating another payment account. And because actual card numbers are not shared with merchants during transactions, Paze provides a streamlined checkout experience with added security.

As Paze becomes available at more of the brands and retailers consumers use every day, more people are discovering a checkout experience built around simplicity, convenience and confidence.

If you've seen Elizabeth Banks and Gabrielle Union in the recent Paze national advertising campaign, now is a great time to give Paze a try. The campaign highlights what makes Paze different and introduces more consumers to a smart way to check out online.

Beginning June 15, eligible consumers will earn a $10 statement credit when they spend $10 or more using Paze at eligible online merchants. The offer can be redeemed up to 10 times per eligible card, allowing eligible consumers to earn up to $100 in statement credits through September 10, 2026. Qualifying statement credits will appear on a future billing statement.

How the offer works

  1. Shop at an eligible merchant that offers Paze.
  2. Select Paze at checkout.
  3. Use an eligible card from a participating financial institution.

Now, we're giving consumers another reason to experience Paze and a simple way to check out online.
